ゾンビマン NO.66

The House of Evolution was an organization created by Dr. Genus, intent on perfecting humanity through artificial evolution. Throughout the years, it churned out multiple failed and success experiments of varying kinds, most of them by utilizing gene splicing with human DNA. Spending an unknown amount of time underground in one of their laboratories, Zombieman was Subject No. 66 in a long line of experiments attempting to create an immortal body. The only success as well as the only survivor, he endured dozens of painful clinical tests that eventually resulted in a body that simply couldn't die. However, all those years took their toll on him, and eventually he used his newfound strength to completely trash the laboratory he was placed in. Leaving chaos in his wake, he escaped their clutches and disappeared into the real world where he couldn't be found or tracked.

He eventually learned his way around, surviving in a world he hadn't been a part of for a long time. Eventually, he made a name for himself, becoming famous after enduring a 140 hour-long brutal battle with a monster. With his unnatural body, he was eventually invited to the Hero's association, where he was eventually placed at the No. 8 spot in the S-class for his unique talents. Between that and the now, he spent years hunting down the very organization he escaped from, intent on bringing it to justice for it's crimes against humanity, as well as the personal grudge he harbors from years of experimentation.

Zombieman is, essentially, immortal. It's unknown whether he ages or not, and any injury he receives he can recover from completely without worry. Even if he's reduced to being just a head, losing limbs, being mutilated, it matters not. His body recovers incredibly fast, and about 3 minutes is enough to recover from about 200 fatal injuries, and around 5-10 to recover lost limbs. Small cuts, bruises, broken bones take seconds to mend themselves. He also has incredible mental fortitude to match his stamina, which means he can fight for upwards of a straight week without stopping. It's said he can only be defeated by being completely reduced to mincemeat.

In addition, his physical strength is superior to that of an average human, being able to bend steel bars with his bare hands. He's incredibly durable, and while his body isn't more resilient than that of an average humans, it allows him to stay standing even when he's getting shredded to pieces.
